New Perspectives on Dry Eye Disease and VKC – RCOphth Evening Symposium

We are proud to be hosting an evening symposium at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth) Congress in Glasgow on Monday 23rd May at 18:30-20:30 (speaker presentations start at 19:00, refreshments will be served 18:30 onwards in the Alsh Room). During this 3-part interactive session we will be discussing new perspectives on delivering dry eye disease services and management of VKC. The session will be Chaired by RCOphth President, Professor Bernie Chang and will feature results from the recent PERSPECTIVE Study as well as, the launch of our dry eye disease (DED) services post-covid report which talks about improving the diagnosis and treatment of DED in the UK and is co-authored by ten leading experts in dry eye disease.

This Santen Ophthalmology Symposium will be the first in a series of educational events developed for Staff Grades, Associate Specialists, and Speciality Doctors. The meeting will be Chaired by Mr Shankar Chappiti (Royal Wolverhamptom Hospitals NHS Trust) and the series will feature presentations by Speciality Doctors, Dr Rosina Zakri (East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust) and Dr Swetha Maddula-Batambuze (Northwest Anglia NHS Foundation Trust) and other prominent healthcare professionals in the future.
